A New Model for Veteran Care in a Resource-Constrained World
Veterans face a unique set of challenges when transitioning back into civilian life ranging from PTSD and trauma to workforce displacement, isolation, and limited access to care. While the need for support continues to grow, traditional systems are increasingly constrained by funding shortages, staffing gaps, and scalability limits.
SpecOpsVETS was created to meet this moment.
SpecOpsVETS is an advanced veteran-focused initiative designed to deliver scalable, clinically informed therapeutic and educational support through Artificial Therapeutic Intelligence (ARTI). Our mission is simple but urgent: expand access, reduce cost, and improve outcomes for veterans without sacrificing clinical integrity or human connection.
Built by Veterans for Veterans.
At the core of SpecOpsVETS is a powerful internal ecosystem: reskilled veterans helping veterans. Rather than relying solely on external providers, SpecOpsVETS trains and employs veterans within the platform itself—creating sustainable job pathways while strengthening trust, cultural competency, and peer-to-peer engagement. This model not only lowers operational costs, but also ensures that care delivery is informed by lived experience. Veterans aren’t just recipients of services they are contributors, operators, and leaders within the system.
US Army Retired Major Scott Haggas who serves on Progress Works California Executive Board: “After retiring from the U.S. Army, I saw too many struggle with the transition from their military service to civilian life. SpecOpsVETS offers a hand up not a hand out. Doing push up and posting tributes are great for awareness, but do not drive scalable solutions for veterans mental health issues. We are focused on creating reskilled opportunities, EdTech resources, and therapeutics at scale care without losing accountability.”

Clinically Driven, Technology-Enabled
SpecOpsVETS integrates ARTI (Artificial Therapeutic Intelligence) models that are:
Clinically guided by licensed mental health professionals (LCSWs)
Developed in collaboration with academic and research teams
Designed to augment not replace human care
Built to scale safely, ethically, and cost-effectively
Our therapeutic intelligence models support veterans through structured engagement, adaptive learning, emotional regulation tools, and guided pathways aligned with evidence-based practices. This approach allows one clinician to support many more veterans—without diluting quality of care.
A Cost-Effective Solution With Measurable Impact
SpecOpsVETS was designed to address a critical reality: demand for veteran services far exceeds available resources.
By leveraging AI-powered therapeutic and educational tools, SpecOpsVETS:
Expands reach without linear cost increases
Reduces dependency on overstretched systems
Creates measurable, data-driven outcomes
Builds long-term workforce and community resilience
This makes the program highly attractive to:
Government agencies
Foundations and grant makers
ESG-aligned corporate partners
Veteran service organizations seeking scalable solutions
Mission Forward: A Scalable National Model
SpecOpsVETS is a repeatable, scalable framework designed to grow across communities, states, and veteran populations nationwide. As funding pressures increase and veteran needs evolve, this model offers a sustainable path forward combining technology, clinical oversight, and human dignity.
Our vision is clear:
No veteran should be left without access to healing, growth, or opportunity simply because systems lack capacity.
